QUALIFYING FOR WARD 3 & WARD 4

TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS

 OF THE CITY OF MT. ZION, GA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 4th day of November 2025 an election will be held in the regular polling place for the City of Mount Zion; Mt. Zion Municipal Building, 4436 Mt Zion Rd Carrollton GA 30117.

This election will be for the following offices:

City Council, Ward 3 and Ward 4 - Qualifying Fee $64.50

Qualifying will take place in the office of the Mount Zion City Clerk, Mount Zion City Hall, 4455 Mount Zion Road, Carrollton, GA beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025 and shall end on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 4:30 p.m.

All candidates must be a resident of the City of Mt. Zion for a period of not less than 1 year immediately prior to the date of the election and shall continue to reside therein during his/her period of service, and shall be registered and qualified to vote in Municipal elections of Mount Zion; cannot hold voting membership on any board, authority or commission created by City Ordinance or City employment during the term he/she is elected for.

The last day to register to vote in this election will be October 6, 2025.                              .

In the event of a Runoff from this election, it will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
