WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT

In 2023, the City of Mount Zion received a $1 million Community Development Block Grant from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. On July 7, the city launched its water-main replacement project, which will update undersized distribution lines on Old Jacksonville Road, South Prospect Avenue, Robinson Street, and Ashwood Drive. Crews will install entirely new mains, valves, and fire hydrants to improve system capacity and reliability.
